Brief Introduction
This Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Central Securities Depository of Iran and Central Registration Agency of Turkey (currently known as the Central Securities Depository of Turkey (MKK)) on March 10, 2010, by the CEO of CSDI (Alireza Haji Norouzi) and the General Manager of the Turkish Central Registration Agency (Yakup Ergincan).

An Introduction to Central Registry Agency of Turkey (CRA)
Central Registry Agency of Turkey (CRA), as the Central Securities Depository of the Turkish capital markets, is known as Merkezi Kayıt Kuruluşu A.Ş. (MKK) within the CSD industry community. It is responsible for providing custodian and dematerialized services for financial instruments and securities listed in the Turkish capital market.
The company is also responsible for overseeing the transactions of registered securities and protecting all rights attributed to it, such as membership fees and ownership.
Among eligible Securities for the Central Registry Agency of Turkey (CRA), are tradable shares on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, exchange-traded funds, investment mutual funds, government bonds, corporate bonds, asset-based securities and Sukuk. The company has also provided the basic infrastructure for clearing, settlement and transfer of securities in the Turkish capital market.
It should be noted that the settlement of financial instruments on the Istanbul Stock Exchange is done through an integrated system between Takasbank and Central Registry Agency of Turkey (CRA).

- Establishment of a special working group to offer shares of Iranian companies on the Istanbul Stock Exchange
A working group consisting of representatives of
CSDI,
Central Registry Agency of Turkey,
Tehran Stock Exchange,
Borsa Istanbul
and
Takasbank
was formed in August 2017, to provide the ground for listing and pricing of shares of
Iranian companies in the Istanbul stock exchange. In this working group, transactional
issues, disclosure of information, post-transaction issues, the deposit of shares in an
aggregate account, corporate actions, legal issues, contractual arrangements, etc. were
reviewed.
