CSDI establishes Central Asset Management Company as a trustee in the process of Islamic securities (Sukuk) issuance.

 

Capital Market Central Asset Management Company was established in August 2010 under Article II of a regulation on SPVs’ range of activities ratified by Supreme Council of Stock Exchange of Iran.

 

The main business objective of this company relates to establishing SPVs and their management, under paragraph (D) of law regarding "development of new institutions and financial instruments in a bid to facilitate implementation of Article 44 of the Iranian Constitution."

 

Moreover Central Asset Management Company undertakes administrative, financial, legal etc. the affairs of SPVs in addition to keeping accurate records of financial documents. These documents are accessible to users after the duration of any contract is due.

 

Central Asset management Co. meanwhile serves as a trustee to investors, preserves shareholders' interests and ensures them of issuers' accuracy. In other words, it also monitors processes regarding securities issuance operations.
