CSDI Wraps Up Its Participation at KishINVEX 2025 – Advancing Steadily on Path of Digital Transformation

Central Securities Depository of Iran unveils two operational systems; the Automated Dividend Distribution System for Investment Funds and an Updated Brokerage Monitoring Platform.

The Central Securities Depository of Iran concluded its participation at KishINVEX 2025, where it showcased the latest steps in its long-term digital-transformation roadmap. Held from 19 to 22 November on Kish Island, this year’s exhibition gathered policymakers, FMIs, investors, technology experts and industry leaders under the theme “Discover the Future.”

At the capital-market pavilion, CSDI presented two operational systems designed to refine day-to-day post-trade processes and enhance overall data quality across the market:

Automated Profit Distribution System for Investment Funds

A newly introduced mechanism that streamlines the calculation and distribution of investment-fund profits by:

  •  Automating routine profit-calculation workflows
  •  Reducing manual reconciliation
  •  Increasing clarity for fund managers and regulators
  •  Providing standardized audit-ready records
  •  Minimizing delays and operational discrepancies

This system integrates seamlessly with CSDI’s existing infrastructure and contributes to a more consistent investor-servicing process.

Afra – Updated Brokerage Monitoring Platform

An upgraded platform that unifies several monitoring tools into a single, structured system, offering:

  •  Clearer segmentation of spot, derivatives, and other position types
  •  Improved transparency in position changes, corporate-action reporting
  •  A more stable hybrid technical architecture
  •  Stronger authentication and security controls

Afra generates standardized outputs that help brokerage firms integrate data with risk-management, compliance and back-office systems.

Leadership Insight

CSDI CEO, Mohammad Baghestani, emphasized that these updates reflect the organization’s gradual, structured approach to digitalization, focusing on reducing manual touchpoints, strengthening data accuracy and improving the efficiency of post-trade services.

Regulatory Perspective

During the opening ceremony, Hojatollah Seydi, Chair of the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO), highlighted the need for market infrastructures to adapt to a rapidly evolving financial environment shaped by digital assets, automation and continuous global trading.

A Steady Step Forward

For CSDI, KishINVEX 2025 was an opportunity to demonstrate incremental yet meaningful progress toward a more resilient, data-driven and digitally connected post-trade ecosystem.

CSDI remains committed to advancing its digital-transformation strategy with a focus on reliability, integration and long-term operational readiness.
