CSDI Issues More Than 4K Electronic Financial Ability Certificates in 6 Months
CSDI issued above 4,000 electronic financial ability certificates as of March, 2024.
Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) has issued 4,275 electronic financial ability certificates as of March, 2024.
The figure includes 3,655 requests for "portfolio statements" and 620 "transactions summary reports." Notably, 519 electronic certificates were issued in the October alone.
The electronic certificates offer convenience for various purposes, including receiving consular services for residence in other countries and proving if students have sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses during the period of study at universities abroad.
Shareholders registered with the Comprehensive Information Gathering System (CIGS) can access the Integrated Capital Market Stakeholders Portal (DDN) at ddn.csdiran.ir. Under the "Electronic Service Desk" section, they can select their desired certificate type (Portfolio Statement or Transactions Summary Report) and receive an electronically approved version. No additional documents are required through DDN.
Individuals can request a Portfolio Statement for a specific past date and choose their preferred timeframe for the Transactions Summary Reports. The Portfolio Statement reflects the total value of all owned shares, excluding any pledged or frozen shares.
The electronic certificates do not bear a seal or signature, and their authenticity is verified by CSDI electronically.
The initiative by the CSDI has streamlined the process and supports stakeholders by providing reliable, electronic proof of financial ability. It also enhances transparency and convenience within the Iranian capital market.
