CSDI Contributes to Working Group Revising AECSD Resolution
CSDI actively participates in the AECSD's regular meetings of a working group charged with the review and revision of the Association's Resolution.
For nearly a year, the Secretariat of the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) has convened regular meetings of a collaborative working group charged with the review and revision of the Association's Resolution.
This working group was tasked with auditing the provisions of the AECSD Resolution, evaluating the current practices of the Association, and incorporating proposals agreed upon during the 2023 Annual General Meeting into the text of the Resolution.
As a new member of the AECSD, Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) has actively participated in this initiative, attending nearly every meeting organized by the Secretariat.
These meetings were conducted online and culminated in presentations made during the 2024 Annual General Meeting, which took place from October 2-4, 2024, in Istanbul, hosted by MKK, the Central Securities Depository of Türkiye.
The outcomes of the working group’s efforts were submitted for approval at the Annual General Meeting. The purpose of the resolution plan is to define the community’s critical functions and to identify and address any impediments to its resolvability.
