CSDI Paid Out Dividends of 137 Issuing Companies via CIGS
Over 10,000 BN IR Rials worth of dividends have been paid out to the shareholders via CSDI's e-KYC Platform - CIGS.
Central Securities Depository of Iran has acknowledged that over 10 thousand billion IR Rials worth of dividends have been paid out to the shareholders via CIGS.
Using Comprehensive Information Gathering System (CIGS), CSDI’s home-grown designed e-KYC system, dividends of 137 issuing companies that were due during the first quarter of the Persian calendar year (21 March-21 June, 2024), amounting to 10 10,027,000,000, IR Rials, were distributed among 9,042,522 shareholders.
Thanks to CSDI's CIGS system, great strides have been taken to materialize online distribution of dividends aligned with the digital economy.
CIGS has made it possible for investors to simply stop referring to offices of issuing companies and financial institutions in-person and receive more technology-facilitated services. This feature is timely because the current COVID-19 pandemic is particularly affecting everyone worldwide.
CIGS is the CSDI’s e-KYC platform which aims to collect the necessary information of CSDI’s clients to provide them with efficient and online services.
