CSDI Completes Migration from First Web-Based System to Integrated Portal for Capital Market Stakeholders (DDN)
Central Securities Depository of Iran has completed migration of over 40 thousand capital market participants to the integrated portal for the Iranian capital market stakeholders (DDN).
Central Securities Depository of Iran, the nation's sole infrastructure provider for the Iranian capital market, has completed migration of over 40 thousand capital market participants to the integrated portal for the Iranian capital market stakeholders (DDN), offering a range of electronic services.
By bringing this huge community into one centralized, secure platform after 16 years, DDN has made it easier for investors, issuers, and market regulatory bodies to find the information they need, understand and make the most of services and operational metrics of the system.
Since the pace of change in the Information Technology sector is quite brisk, the useful life of the systems is estimated to be less than 10 years. Hence, Central Securities Depository of Iran put a stop to its first version of web-based platform, IPS, so that the users could reap the benefits of the DDN integrated portal for capital market beneficiaries.
The IPS listed versions in English, Persian and an app allowable by an Android system. The shareholders were to visit a Government Services Office and get registered.
