CSDI Attends FEAS General Assembly Meeting, ConFEAS 2024 in Samarkand
Central Securities Depository of Iran participates in the 37th FEAS Annual General Assembly meeting in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Central Securities Depository of Iran participated in the 37th Annual General Assembly meeting of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS), held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan on April 9, 2024.
The one-day event was organized by the FEAS and hosted by its two prominent members Uzbek Commodity Exchange and Republican Stock Exchange “Toshkent” and supported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was followed by FEAS flagship “ConFEAS 2023” international conference, which gathered around 200 participants. The ConFEAS brought together around 200 participants from Exchanges, CSDs, Banks, Regulatory Bodies, Investment Companies, and IFIs under one roof to discuss the latest trends, issues, and opportunities in modern capital markets.
The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) is a non-profit international organization comprising the main stock exchanges, CSDs and financial institutions in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
The mission of FEAS is to create fair, efficient and transparent market environment among its members.
CSDI joined FEAS in January 2010 and has been elected to serve as a member of the Executive Board for two consecutive terms and is currently a member of the Audit Committee.
