CSDI Attends 38th FEAS General Assembly Meeting, Capital Market Talks in Kazakhstan
CSDI participates in 38th Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges General Assembly Meeting and Capital Market Talks in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) participates in the 38th Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges General Assembly Meeting and Capital Market in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The events were hosted by FEAS Member Kazakhstan Stock Exchange on November 14 2023.
The one-day event brought together the executives of the stock exchanges of the members of the federation from more than 20 countries. The General Assembly of FEAS approved the budget for 2024 and the calendar, as well as started discussions on the strategy of the federation.
Early in the day, members of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee convened in two separate sessions. Central Securities Depository of Iran as a member of the Audit Committee was present at the meeting where the annual year-end performance assessment were conducted and the glitches were discussed.
Following the General Assembly FEAS members and invited parties participated in round-table discussion: “Capital Market Talks” which was fully dedicated to FEAS members. During the session, the CSDI representative briefed other members about the current activities and future plans of Central Securities Depository of Iran.
The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) was established on 16 May 1995 with 12 founding members. The purpose of the Federation is to contribute to the cooperation, development, support and promotion of capital markets in the Euro-Asian Region (i.e. Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean Basin). CSDI joined FEAS in 2006.
Currently there are 30 members, 9 observers and 5 partners.
