Ali Roostaei Appointed New Director of Planning and Development at CSDI
Central Securities Depository of Iran names Ali Roostaei as new P&D director.
Central Securities Depository of Iran has appointed Ali Roostaei as its director of planning and development.
Dr. Ali Roostaei previously served as CSDI's Commodity Market Settlement director since 2022. He joined Central Securities Depository of Iran as senior expert in settlement of transactions in May 2014.
Among his major responsibilities as head of the planning and development department are conducting need analyses, feasibility tests, developing and deploying service platforms, offering solution making initiatives, providing due support for the expansion of the company's business activities, conducting comparative research on standard procedures, and services provided by corresponding organizations, cooperation, and interaction with similar bodies as well as other regional and international exchanges.
Dr. Roostaei will also serve as the secretary of two committees of "Risks Governing CSDI Business activities" and "Strategic Leadership" at the company.
Dr. Roostaei specializes in the fields of risk management, process reengineering, developing strategic plans of an organization, conducting research and preparing investigative reports with the approach of identifying select experiences and finding patterns and compiling management reports.
He has a professing experience at the Industrial Engineering Faculty of Semnan University in the fields of decision-making, project control, principles of simulation and marketing.
Ali Roostaei has graduated from Sharif University of Technology with a Master's Degree and has a PhD from Tarbiat Modares University.
